Loved my stay here! Great location, easy instructions to follow. The place is beautifully decorated, they did not skimp on anything. A microwave is not provided, which would be helpful- although I’m not sure if it’s customary in England to do so.

Had a beautiful stay. So many thoughtful details. The beautiful scent that you welcomed you each time you walked through the door. The complimentary touches. The super proactive and response hosts. A tastefully decorated space with loads of room, a giant walk in shower, super luxe bedding and pillows and a comfy mattress. Plus private onsite parking. Pretty flawless. Obviously recommend! :-)

Honestly couldn’t recommend to stay here more. Firstly, place was gorgeous! But not only that it was clean and exactly like the photos. The location was perfect, with shops and restaurants just a couple steps away, and it still felt so tranquil and safe.
Fi and Alistar were so friendly and proactive! Offering recommendations and to make reservations/travel plans. We loved the sourdough and the stocked fridge! Such nice touches ❤️

The accommodation was absolutely beautiful, and we loved the decor and carefully chosen furnishings. Clearly well- thought out.
The surrounding area is stunningly beautiful, and there is plenty to explore, whether it’s the plentiful antique shops or some fantastic restaurants. If you prefer something quieter, then there is a lovely walk to the wells with rolling hills pretty and pasture land . We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Fi and her partner were extremely helpful and friendly and very approachable in regard to any of our questions.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautifully designed, and we admired every thoughtful detail throughout our visit. From the moment you step outside, the Cotswolds feel like something out of a storybook, full of charm, beauty, and character. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the area, and we truly fell in love with it all.
We also really appreciated the quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. Thank you again for such a lovely experience. We will definitely be returning very soon!

I can’t say enough not only about the accommodations but also about the people behind it. The location in Stow-on-the-Wold can’t be beat as it’s in the heart of everything. The finishes and touches in the unit itself are perfectly done. If I have to list a downside it’s simply that now I know I’m in for some pricey upgrades at home as my wife can’t unsee the amazing design, decor, and interior work done. We stayed 3 nights during our 2 week trip in Europe, and this stay was easily the highlight as far as accommodations. The host also thought of great touches to make us feel welcome such as drinks in the fridge and a welcome basket. To further the experience, the host is friendly, accommodating, and very quick to respond to any communication. From start to finish, booking, arriving, checking out, etc the entire process was smooth and frictionless..
For context, we own and host several short term rentals in the USA and this host taught us a thing or two. Book the Vaults if you’re visiting the area… you won’t regret it.

Extremely tastefully decorated with beautiful and stylish quality soft furnishings. Being extremely picky- The front door was like a fully sprung rat trap!! It was dreadfully hard to close shut but also sprung so it closed extremely quickly up to a point…then it took ages to close, letting all the cold air in!I know it’s a firedoor…but not sure if it was working correctly. It was fierce on the back of your heels when going out the door skinning the backs of my heels many times. We dreaded using it!!

Amazing location, private parking and the most stunning apartment!! You are in a prime spot within the Cotswolds, with amazing pub restaurants, bakeries & coffee shops all within a few minutes. (If you’re staying, I definitely recommend The Stag At Stow pub for dinner which is a 2 minute walk away). Very close to other prime locations also - e.g 9m to Bourton on the water / 12m from Daylesford Farm etc. The property was amazing, very clean, cosy and Fi was always checking in to see if we were ok. Defo recommend!! N/A

What a beautiful home away from home that Shilling at the Vaults is. Everything was exactly as advertised and all the small important details were attended to. The bed was luxurious as well as the claw foot tub and the still warm fresh bread along with butter/oat milk in the fridge and preserves in the welcome basket really made this weekend stay. I hope to be back again some day!

We enjoyed a wonderful 2-night stay in Shilling, and enjoyed all the room had to offer. The interior was beautiful and the breakfast and stocked fridge was a lovely addition. Customer service was excellent and we'd love to stay again - would highly recommend for a relaxing retreat to the Cotswolds.
